Caution: Avoid sending your clinician any critical or life-threatening message via CirrhoCare.

Use the NHS 111 online service for immediate medical assistance, or dial 111 if you are unable to receive assistance online. Call 999 to request an ambulance in cases of life-threatening situations. The NHS website has more information about receiving medical treatment.

The CirrhoCare patient care app is intended for patients who speak English as their first language and have access to an Android or iOS smartphone.

CirrhoCare is intended only for patients who own a smartphone and are familiar with the use of smartphone apps (applications). Requires access to internet connection periodically (once every 4 hours) to be able to upload data and effective use of the app.

CirrhoCare is not intended to be used as a stand-alone therapy for treating and managing decompensated cirrhosis complications. CirrhoCare does not represent a substitution for a patient’s medication. Patients should continue to take their medications as directed by their healthcare provider.
